Square and box chambers
Large sheets formed in one bend, door frames and hinged doors fitted to the drawing — geometry follows the drawing, not a catalogue.
The square chamber wins on usable volume and door size, and loses on flat-panel stiffness and door sealing. We form large sheets in a single bend, fit door frames and hinged doors to the drawing, and add stiffeners where the drawing calls for them — geometry follows your drawing rather than a standard box.
How it is built
Side panels are formed in one operation within the 6.2 m bend length, which cuts weld seams and re-straightening. Assembly starts from a datum face and the door frame, then the remaining panels. 304L sheet is the default, with thickness and stiffener layout to drawing; openings are confirmed before welding so nothing has to be patched afterwards.
Interfaces and fits
The door can be hinged or bolt-clamped, with the seal groove machined to the drawing; viewports, pump ports, feedthroughs and electrical interfaces are placed to drawing. Door frame and door leaf are fitted as a pair, and the closed contact face is checked at assembly, with seals selected from the drawing.
How it is verified
Every unit is helium tested, with the door and each port checked individually; critical dimensions (internal volume, door-frame flatness, hole positions) are recorded to the agreed scope. Distortion in a box chamber is controlled by weld sequence and fixturing, and that sequence is written into the process at review.

Technical summary
The table states the range we can confirm; dimensions, tolerances, thickness and flange standards are settled at drawing review.
| Material | Mainly 304L sheet, grade and thickness to drawing |
|---|---|
| Forming | Large sheets formed in one bend within the 6.2 m bend length |
| Door and frame | Hinged or bolt-clamped door, seal groove machined to drawing, frame fitted as a pair |
| Stiffening | Stiffener layout settled at drawing review from size and duty |
| Testing | Helium leak test per unit; internal volume, door-frame flatness and hole positions recorded as agreed |
| Dimensions and tolerances | Agreed at drawing review |
What buyers ask
Will a square chamber distort?
Welding flat panels always distorts something; we control it with formed corners, stiffeners, weld sequence and fixturing. The layout is settled at review against your dimensions. We do not promise no distortion, only acceptance within the agreed scope.
Hinged door or bolt-clamped?
It depends on how often the door opens and on the opening size. Hinged doors suit frequent access, bolt-clamped doors suit long closed periods; if the drawing is silent we advise at review.
How large can you go?
Limited by the 6.2 m bend length and the 50 t crane envelope. Beyond that, the chamber has to be split into buildable panels and welded joints, which is decided at review.
